About
As a serial entrepreneur with a multi-dimensional background, Annie’s core mission has always been the same: helping others. At 10 years old, Annie helped her little sister pick out a new paint color for her bedroom – but she didn’t stop there. One color choice spiraled into a full bedroom makeover, with artwork collages on the walls, an overhaul of the furniture layout, and the creation of a creative, fun space for her to share with her beloved toys. This is Annie’s first interior decorating memory, and her passion has only grown ever since.
In 2013, when she bought her first home, she completely redesigned the interior. Her kitchen reno was even featured on Houzz.

In 2017
Annie
traded cold, snowy days in New Hampshire for the North Carolina sunshine. She built and designed a semi-custom home in Raleigh – and that was the experience that finally solidified her deep passion for beautiful, functional, inspiring interiors and home spaces.
Annie launched her design business in 2019
When her best friend asked her to help design a downtown Cary investment property a few months later, Annie said yes — and Spotted Interior Design was born.
Since then, Annie has built her business brick by brick — one client and relationship at a time. Today, Spotted Design has completed over 100 projects and designed or managed more than $7 million in renovations and furnishings/space planning. Most of the firm’s work comes from referrals and repeat clients, a reflection of the deep trust Annie and her team cultivate with every project.
Now a proud mom to a baby boy, Annie has discovered an even deeper appreciation for the role home plays in family life. Designing with a baby (and a dog!) has reshaped her perspective — inspiring her to create aesthetic, functional, and pet-friendly spaces that evolve with the needs of modern families.

Jordan Russell
Designer
Jordan Russell relocated to Raleigh, NC from Fort Collins, CO with her husband back in 2016. She is known for her enthusiasm, optimism, and love for design. Her passion for interior design blossomed after constructing her first home in 2020, inspiring her to assist others in curating stunning and practical spaces. Her style incorporates the added charm of antiques, colors, and patterns into bright and airy spaces. Outside of work, she finds joy in painting, gardening, and playing tennis.
Micah Beachy
Social Media
Micah is a storyteller at heart, passionate about creating content that inspires and connects. She holds a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a focus on social media strategy and digital storytelling.
Her approach is simple: show up with heart, stay curious, and never lose sight of the human connection behind every project.
Outside of work, Micah enjoys exploring new places, trying vegan food, and relaxing with a great movie and coffee in hand.
